www.expand2web.com – This is a short tutorial that shows how to add custom links to your navigation menu in the Thesis WordPress Theme. What if you want to add a nav menu item that does not link to a WordPress page on your site, but links to any URL? This video shows you how to do it.

@djkpcom – I don’t think so. That would be a good idea for them though.
@bsegovia – I think you can only do links from one category…
Is there a way to add your links as a drop down menu? For example, I have a LINKS menu (category) and underneath are various links you can click on.
@bsegovia – I can only make it work for the one link category.
Do you know if there is a way to add links from multiple link categories?
I have sent you my thesis guide for your kind look. Have you received that?
Good question carealproperties – I need to look into that…
Thanks fourblogger!
Nice tutorial for thesis.
Nice how to. This makes things so much quicker to work out thanks. In the new Thesis 1.6 with the drop down menu do you know how to make the category a child of the main nav button so I can set the drop down links as external pages.
Nice info thanks very much and yes more thesis – wp videos would be great
Please make more how-to video on how to use Thesis with WordPress for beginners. They are SUPER helpful for visual learners. I thought Thesis would be easier to customize with little to no programming experience but finding out that is not the case.
