You can tell, because the email account that your YouTube account is connected to will be sent a message stating that one of your videos is eligible. Later they will tell you that you can monetize all of your videos. They will ask you to make an adsense account and then go through a lot of steps.

There is a way to find out if your account is eligible to monetization without Youtube sending you an e-mail.

Ads are put on your videos if YouTube invites you into the Revenue Sharing Program. After that, a button called “Monetize” appears under all of your videos, and you can click it to put ads on your videos.

Uhh you don’t need anything at all to have adsense. You can have nothing connected and still not be suspended. I don’t really know how to prevent being suspended.

Dude, I was asked to be monetized, and I earned 5$, and the next day my adsense account was gone…
I only used youtube for my ads, but it said I had insufficient content. What do I do?
